
Yayasan St John Ambulans Malaysia – Kawasan Pantai Selangor Receives Sponsorship of 30 Blood Pressure Monitoring Sets to Replace and Upgrade Ageing Blood Pressure Monitoring Sets Across Its Dialysis Centres

Yayasan St John Ambulans Malaysia – Kawasan Pantai Selangor (SJAM-KPS Foundation) is pleased to announce the receipt of 30 units of blood pressure (BP) monitoring sets to support its network of 13 dialysis centres located in Selangor, Perak, Malacca, and Sarawak, serving more than 700 dialysis patients across its centres.
The sponsorship is intended to replace and upgrade existing ageing blood pressure (BP) monitoring sets across its 13 dialysis centres, thereby continuously strengthening the quality of care services.
Blood pressure monitoring is a critical component of dialysis treatment and patient care, ensuring safe and effective clinical management throughout each treatment session. The Foundation remains committed to maintaining high standards of patient care through reliable and accurate medical equipment across all its centres.
This initiative was made possible through the facilitation and coordination of Mr. Loo Jooi Leng, Head of Sustainability of Big Caring Group, who played a key role in connecting the collaboration with Omron Healthcare Singapore Pte. Ltd., the sponsor of the 30 units of BP monitoring sets.
As part of the programme, relevant staff will also be guided on the proper use of the equipment to ensure safe and effective application during dialysis treatment.
A simple handover ceremony was held on 13 May 2026 at SJAM-KPS Pusat Hemodialisis Klang. The event was attended by Ms. Yeo Siok Li, C-Suite Executive of Yayasan St John Ambulans Malaysia – Kawasan Pantai Selangor, on behalf of Dato’ Yeo Kim Thong, Chief Operating Officer of Yayasan St John Ambulans Malaysia – Kawasan Pantai Selangor, Mr. Loo Jooi Leng, Head of Sustainability of Big Caring Group, and Ms. Josseline, Assistant Sales Manager of Omron Healthcare Singapore Pte. Ltd.
